Doron Laznow is a bassoonist, and was born in Israel in 1995. He received a Bachelor of Music from the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and have studied there with Prof. Daniel Matsukawa, and a Master of Music from Rice University in Houston, studying with Prof. Benjamin Kamins. Doron began his bassoon studies in the Jerusalem Academy Of Music And Dance High School with Richard Paley. He has been a recipient of the AICF scholarship Since 2011.
Doron won the National Woodwind Competition in Kfar-Saba, and has performed as a soloist with orchestras, such as the Haifa Symphony, Ra’anana Symphonette, the JAMDH Orchestra. Doron has also played with professional orchestras and ensembles such as The Louisiana Philharmonic, The Israeli Philharmonic, Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra, The Israeli Chamber Orchestra, The Jerusalem Symphony, The 21st Century Ensemble, Meitar Ensemble and more.
